AN INVITATION TO REEF KEEPERS & CORAL DEALERS

Rotating coral displays.
A clearer view of growth.

RadGear by Tankmatez combines individually rotating coral stations and wash and feed towers with a developing coral growth tracking platform for reef aquariums. The coral stations rotate; the wash and feed towers stay fixed. These towers direct water around the corals for washing, deliver coral food, and aerate the surrounding water when air is pumped into the system. The wash, feed, and aeration outlets are angled 30° downward, creating vortices and swirling flow around the corals. The towers distribute magnetically treated, nutrient-rich saltwater around the corals after it passes through the magnetic chamber.

Our proposed field study compares rotation, wash flow, and magnetic exposure in separate controlled tests. We’re looking for measurable growth, improved color and survival, less detritus, and easier maintenance—not assumed benefits.

Proposed pilot, not a proven performance claim. Skeletal density, strength, and food assimilation require separate validated tests.

THE SOFTWARE

Coral photogrammetry

The planned workflow uses overlapping photos to build calibrated 3D models and compare coral surface area over time. Automatic reconstruction is not connected yet.

THE RESEARCH

Measure, then compare

The proposed field study tests rotation, directed wash flow, and magnetic exposure separately. Improved growth or food assimilation has not been established.
