Rotating aquarium displays for reef aquariums
RadGear rotating aquarium displays are in development by Tankmatez. Each coral station rotates individually, while the wash and feed towers remain fixed.

Individual stations, fixed wash and feed towers
The design combines rotating coral holders with fixed wash and feed towers. The towers direct water around the corals for washing and deliver coral food. When air is pumped into the system, they also aerate the water around the corals. The wash, feed, and aeration outlets are angled 30° downward, creating vortices and swirling flow around the corals. The towers distribute magnetically treated, nutrient-rich saltwater around the corals after it passes through the magnetic chamber. The coral holders turn while the towers remain stationary. Prototype demonstrations show the hardware being developed for reef aquariums.
A repeatable view of each coral
Rotating stations are part of our planned imaging workflow. Repeated, overlapping views can support coral photogrammetry, provided the capture is sharp, calibrated, and reviewed. A moving coral display alone does not produce a validated growth measurement.
